This sake has a rich, well-balanced flavor with a smooth, natural taste. The full flavor of Omachi rice is perfectly complemented by a touch of dryness, creating a harmonious balance of sweet and dry. Omachi is one of Japan’s oldest sake rice varieties.
This series is, so far, one of the most promising labels for Singapore sake lovers. People find it very well-balanced, easy to drink, and easy to appreciate when paired with food. Many sake breweries are located in the northern and colder regions of Japan, but this brewery is in Nagasaki, the southernmost area of Japan. With its tropical climate and warm temperatures, I feel this sake embodies soft, sweet, and rich in umami. For those new to our shop, I highly recommend trying this label first. It also won a gold award in the well-known Singapore Sake Challenge competition.
