Miyozakura Jozo, based in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, is a small but dedicated operation with just eight people crafting their sake. They currently have two brands - Miyozakura and Tsushimaya. Tsushimaya specializes in unique Junmai sake and almost every month they release new types unique of sake, while Miyozakura is dedicated to preserving the traditional flavors of the past. They are a well-known and respected brand in the Chubu region.
The new brand Tsushimaya was established in 2012 at Miyozakura Shuzou. It is a limited edition brand created by Hiroe Watanabe. With a strong passion for pursuing his dream taste of sake, he frequently experiments with different brewing methods, yeast strains, and temperatures to produce various types of sake. As a result, they continuously produce new products throughout the year. We truly admire his craftsmanship and dedication.
Tsushima-ya sake can only be bought at special stores. They release different labels almost every month.

The brewery owner is very kind and hardworking and runs several kilometers every day!

They focus on using local rice and water, creating sake deeply rooted and connected to the community.
